While we await the final result of Al Nassr vs. Al Ain, Cristiano Ronaldo has done it again. The Portuguese superstar, formerly of Real Madrid and Manchester United among others, has scored his 908th career goal to help Stefano Pioli and his team – currently leading 3-0 – in their Asian Champions League clash.
Barring any incredible twists, CR7 is about to get some sweet revenge against Hernan Crespo, who is on the opposing bench. Ronaldo has never beaten Crespo in their four previous encounters as a player (one while wearing the Manchester United shirt, the other for Chelsea and Milan) and Valdanito’s Al Ain eliminated Riyadh’s team in the quarterfinals of the previous Asian Champions League, which was then won by the Emirati team: the 4-3 in the second leg equaled the 1-0 in the first leg, but penalties were fatal for the Portuguese and his teammates.
