The final two weeks of the transfer window promise to be exciting and busy for PSG. And that’s exactly what Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, but especially Luis Enrique, wants, since Kylian Mbappé hasn’t really been replaced since his departure to Real Madrid.
So who will join PSG, like João Neves, Willian Pacho and Matvey Safonov? While the transfer of Désiré Doué from Stade Rennais to PSG seems imminent in this transfer window, much to the chagrin of Bayern Munich, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has finally found the lucky one who could come in to “replace” Kylian Mbappé.
And we say “replace” in quotation marks, because it will be “the collective that will replace Mbappé,” according to president Al-Khelaïfi. And while Kingsley Coman, who has already refused to join Mourinho’s Fenerbahçe, dreams of a return to PSG, the Paris-born player is apparently no longer the hottest track in Luis Enrique’s eyes, given the imminent arrival of Désiré Doué (Rennes).
According to information from Footmercato, Paris Saint-Germain has now made Jadon Sancho its top priority and Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has already promised him a golden contract worth a total of €68m (€17m gross per year over 4 years) for the 24-year-old English international.
For its part, Manchester United is still struggling to finalise the transfer of Manuel Ugarte and has increased its price to €60m for Jadon Sancho. There is no doubt that a total agreement should be quickly found for each of these deals between the various parties by the end of August.
Capable of playing on the left or right wing, in support of a number nine or as an attacking midfielder, Jadon Sancho would offer a versatility similar to that of Désiré Doué, which would greatly appeal to Luis Campos and Luis Enrique. The best solution for the Parc des Princes residents, in order to provide strong and healthy competition for Ousmane Dembélé and Bradley Barcola? Oh yes!
