Premier League enters the fray: 3 clubs chase Kingsley Coman

French winger wants to leave Bayern Munich in the summer.

The agent of Bayern Munich star Kingsley Coman has initiated contacts with Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool to explore a possible transfer for the French winger this summer. According to HITC, Coman’s future at Bayern is increasingly uncertain, and his representative is looking for a new destination for his client, valued at £50m.

Coman, who joined Bayern in 2015 on a two-season loan from Juventus, became a key player for the Bavarian team after his permanent signing in 2017.

Over the years, he has been crucial to Bayern’s success, although he has recently seen his importance in the team diminish. Injuries have been a significant factor, with 21 games missed last season and only 27 appearances, in which he contributed eight goals in over 1,700 minutes of play.

Premier League clubs vie for Kingsley Coman

With rising star Jamal Musiala occupying the left flank and the possible arrival of Michael Olise at Bayern, Coman sees his future at the German club at risk. Despite having three years left on his contract, he is seriously considering an exit in search of greater stability and prominence.

Coman’s agent has offered his services to several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool, looking for a team that can offer him both a competitive challenge and an improvement on his current situation.

-Arsenal: At Arsenal, Mikel Arteta is eager to strengthen his attack, and Coman could provide the creativity and goals the London club needs.

-Chelsea: On the other hand, Chelsea could also benefit from his arrival, especially given the underperforming form of players like Raheem Sterling and Mykhailo Mudryk. A winger of Coman’s quality and experience could revitalize the Blues’ attack.

-Liverpool: At Liverpool, although the team already has several attacking options, Coman’s versatility and proven track record could be valuable to manager Arne Slot. However, the £50m investment for a 28-year-old player with a history of injuries could be a deterrent for any of these clubs.
