Memphis Depay’s adventure at Atlético Madrid is already over. The Dutch striker has made the news official on his Instagram account.
Having arrived last summer from FC Barcelona, Depay is already leaving the Colchoneros, just one year after joining the Madrid club. The two parties have decided to terminate their contract. This season, the 30-year-old has scored 5 goals in 23 appearances.
“It’s not easy to say what I feel when writing this message because I feel like things could have been very different. Maybe it’s better to keep this conversation for another time… Atleti, my teammates, the staff and above all the fans, I want to thank you for the energy and support I have felt as an Atleti player.
