Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano announced on Sunday that he will be leaving the Tuscan club after three seasons, bringing the number of Serie A clubs in search of a new coach to five.
“I have given my all, the time has come to turn the page and for someone to come with new ideas,” said Vincenzo Italiano after his team’s 2-3 win at Atalanta in the last match of the season.
“I will take my time to choose my future carefully,” he added.
Under Italiano, Fiorentina finished 7th in Serie A in 2021-22 and 8th in 2022-23 and 2023-24. The “Viola” also played, and lost, three finals, one in the Coppa Italia (2023), and two in the Europa Conference League (2023, 2024).

Italiano could be replaced by Raffaele Palladino, who currently coaches Monza.
The off-season will be a busy one for Serie A coaches: AC Milan, Juventus Turin, Napoli and Bologna are all looking for a new coach.
Juve, who sacked Massimiliano Allegri before the end of the season, are expected to sign Thiago Motta, who has announced that he will not be extending his contract with Bologna, while Naples could bring in former Italy coach Antonio Conte, who has been without a club since leaving Tottenham in March 2023.
AC Milan are on the trail of Portuguese Paulo Fonseca (Lille).
Lazio, Verona and Udinese could also change their coaches.
