Kylian Mbappé had another ‘farewell’ from Paris Saint-Germain this Saturday. The French forward played what will be his final minutes wearing the Parisian club’s shirt in the French Cup final. His performance did not go unnoticed by the country’s top analysts: “It was Mbappé’s last match and it was not successful, it was like his last matches. He is not in good spirits at all. A new life will open up for him, at least with the Euros. For several weeks now, Mbappé has not been the Mbappé who can lead the French national team very far,” said Daniel Riolo, of RMC Sport.

Riolo, like so many others, does not see Mbappé focused ahead of the Euros, the next big challenge for the player before changing teams: “Will Deschamps’ magical preparations work with him? But he lacks strength, clearly he lacks strength. He had many good intentions; I even found him with better intentions than usual in attitude, but he lacks strength. He passed through the final quite anonymously.”
After the match, Mbappé showed emotion about leaving PSG, although he did not want to reveal what his final destination will be. In any case, his farewell from Paris could not be entirely satisfactory. Despite the double with PSG, the Bondy-born player’s recent performances have been rather discreet.
