AC Milan announces Stefano Pioli’s departure

It was expected, and now it’s official. AC Milan has announced the departure of Stefano Pioli (58 years old), the manager of the Milanese club since 2019: “AC Milan and Stefano Pioli announce that they will not continue together next season, intending to end their professional relationship,” stated the Rossoneri.

“AC Milan wishes to affectionately thank Stefano Pioli, and his entire staff, for leading the first team for these five years, achieving an unforgettable Scudetto and bringing Milan back to the most important European competitions,” the statement said. Second in Serie A this season, Milan still dreams of recruiting Paulo Fonseca (LOSC), the top priority to replace Pioli.
