Real Madrid President Says No to €85m Star: “We Have a Squad Full of Great Players”

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has been ruthless in recent months, axing several players from the club’s plans. The reasoning behind this is simple: the squad is already brimming with top-class talent, making it difficult for new arrivals to find a place.

One player who has fallen by the wayside is Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, despite his agent’s attempts to drum up interest from the Spanish giants. While Kvaratskhelia is undoubtedly a gifted player, his attacking prowess and flair don’t quite justify a spot in Real Madrid’s already stacked forward line.

Reports suggest that the Georgian winger could be headed to the Premier League or Serie A, with Paris Saint-Germain also in the mix. His price tag is estimated to be around €85 million.

For Real Madrid, however, pursuing Kvaratskhelia is a non-starter. With Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, Kylian Mbappe, Endrick, Joselu, Brahim Diaz, and Arda Guler already in the attack, there’s simply no room for another attacker.

As much as it might pain some aspiring stars, not every great footballer can make the cut at Real Madrid.

Kvaratskhelia, without a doubt, has immense potential. However, there are lingering doubts about whether he has what it takes to become one of the world’s best.

If he truly aspires to reach that pinnacle, he needs to leave Napoli. Joining a team that consistently challenges for domestic and European titles is crucial for his development.
