Brice Samba has inked a fresh deal, but not with RC Lens

There’s a shuffle happening in the goalkeeping department of the French football team. Not in the keepers themselves, mind you, but in their kit suppliers. Following Mike Maignan’s recent switch, his understudy Brice Samba is following suit. However, unlike Maignan, Samba has been donning the feline-branded gear on the pitch for quite a while now.

Officially, Brice Samba is now a player sponsored by Puma.

It was only this Saturday that Puma made it official on social media, welcoming the Lens goalkeeper into their squad of endorsed athletes. They’re kitting him out head to toe; from the boots to the gloves, all proudly bearing the logo of his new technical partner. Not to mention the jersey, shorts, and socks of his club; after all, the Sang et Or also fall under the umbrella of the German group.

“A fresh face in the Puma Fam. Welcome, Brice Samba,” Puma penned on social media, extending a warm greeting to the 30-year-old player who’s stepping onto the field sporting kicks from the Future range.
