Théo Hernandez has put pen to paper on a fresh deal, but it's not with AC Milan

The French players at AC Milan seem to have itchy feet. Not so much when it comes to their club, though. Both of them, however, are more likely to move around because they’re quite sought after, rather than being suppliers of football boots. Following Mike Maignan’s recruitment by Adidas, it’s now Théo Hernandez’s turn to swap his Nike boots for Puma ones.

Théo Hernandez Ditches Nike for Puma

The player and his new technical sponsor formalised this agreement on Thursday, 9th May, on social media platforms. The French international defender is now signed with the brand sporting the feline logo, which also outfits his club, AC Milan. Up until now, the youngest of the Hernandez siblings has always played in Nike gear, much like his older brother Lucas.

AC Milan Defender Becomes Ultra Brand Ambassador

“Puma welcomes you to the family,” read the greeting message from Puma to its new recruit, who is expected to sport shoes from the Ultra range in the future. This is the same range worn by his teammates in the French national team, including Antoine Griezmann, Olivier Giroud, and Kingsley Coman.
