Bayern Munich close in on Theo Hernandez as Alphonso Davies exit looms

AC Milan slap hefty price tag on Theo Hernandez

Looks like Alphonso Davies’ days at Bayern Munich are numbered. According to Mundo Deportivo, the German giants are already lining up his replacement, and they’ve got their sights set on Theo Hernandez.

Theo Hernandez, formerly of Real Madrid and currently tearing it up at AC Milan, seems to be the answer to Bayern’s left-back woes. Reports suggest a personal agreement with the player is already in place, with just the transfer fee left to negotiate with AC Milan.

AC Milan Open to Letting Theo Go

While Hernandez is contracted until 2026, AC Milan might be tempted by a good offer. The Italian club is planning a squad overhaul this summer, and with Theo reportedly keen on leaving Italy, a hefty transfer fee could come in handy for their rebuild.

This wouldn’t be Bayern’s first rodeo with a Hernandez brother. Back in 2019, they splashed a cool €80 million on Lucas Hernandez. If Davies does indeed leave, Theo seems like the natural successor for the left-back position.

With Davies seemingly on his way out, Bayern Munich appear to have their replacement lined up. Theo Hernandez ticks all the boxes – a talented player, familiar with the Bundesliga through his brother’s stint at Bayern, and seemingly open to a new challenge. Now, it’s all about agreeing on a transfer fee with AC Milan.
