It looks like star striker Victor Osimhen has his sights set on the Premier League, rather than a switch to Paris Saint-Germain.
The 23-year-old Nigerian has a hefty release clause in his contract at Napoli, somewhere between €120 million and €130 million. With Kylian Mbappé’s future in Paris uncertain, PSG were thought to be potential suitors.
However, Osimhen seems to have his heart set on England. He already has experience in Ligue 1 from his time with Lille before joining Napoli, and perhaps fancies a new challenge.
Right now, the hottest rumour points towards Chelsea. Their new sporting director, Giovanni Manna, is reportedly in talks with Napoli to see if a deal for Osimhen can be done, according to TMW. Interestingly, Manna could also be looking to include Romelu Lukaku in the deal! Lukaku, of course, is a player Manna tried to bring to Juventus last summer.
