Myrto Uzuni emerges as a target for Las Palmas

Las Palmas began the season well, indicating a potential European qualification. That being said, their recent performances have been terrible and they are now out of the race altogether. If sides below them had won more games, they would be fighting to stay up this term – a fact which has deeply worried the club’s hierarchy.

García Pimienta believes that their poor form of late is due to not having a prolific forward in the team. Kaba arrived at the club last summer for an estimated £2m but he hasn’t lived up to expectations.

Kaba looks set to depart on either a permanent or temporary basis, which has led to Las Palmas’ chiefs beginning their search for other options.

As per Todofichajes, Myrto Uzuni is someone Luis Helguera is looking at. The Albanian international has had an impressive season individually with Granada, scoring 11 goals in 32 outings despite it being a challenging year for the side overall.

Consequently, several Spanish top-flight teams are keen on him including Las Palmas who have recently joined the race.
