The future of Dean Huijsen: Borussia Dortmund on the move

Dean Huijsen’s future is still up in the air. The defender, owned by Juventus, who moved on a dry loan to Roma last January, has shown significant growth in recent months. He has racked up a total of 14 appearances in the league, along with 2 goals and 1 assist.

Roma is trying to figure out if there’s room for extending the loan, but Juventus hasn’t yet decided which path to take after this season ends. The Bianconeri will need to meet with both the player and his agent to hash out a strategy. All options are still on the table: from another loan to a sale to raise funds for incoming transfers, to staying with the first team. Nothing has been decided by the club yet.

Meanwhile, according to the latest reports from TMW, there’s strong interest from Borussia Dortmund in the 2005-born central defender, who recently chose Spain as his national team. The German club has already expressed their interest to both Juventus and Huijsen’s representatives, awaiting Juventus’s decision on how they’ll proceed once the loan spell at Roma ends in June.
