Manchester United decide against Amrabat’s redemption: Evaluation around £15 Million

Sofyan Amrabat’s stint at Manchester United is reaching its conclusion. The Moroccan midfielder, who joined Manchester United from Fiorentina on a loan deal worth £10 million, with an option to buy for £25 million, will not be kept by the Red Devils, according to TMW. Despite making 25 appearances across all competitions, he failed to make a significant impact akin to his performances in the World Cup. Consequently, Fiorentina’s management must seek a solution for the upcoming season, although offers from prominent clubs in our country cannot be ruled out.

Amrabat earns a salary of £4 million per annum plus bonuses at Manchester United and is inclined to maintain this figure. Considering his contract expiry in June 2025, a transfer fee around £15-16 million could be plausible. Following his change of agency from Stellar to SEG, he has also been proposed to Juventus and Milan. For the Rossoneri, he could be a viable option in the event of departures by Bennacer and Adli, albeit with different characteristics, but his wage demands may pose a challenge. On the other hand, Juventus would have an additional asset (Arthur) if Fiorentina were to opt for his retention.

The player is determined not to remain in Florence, as evidenced by his stance a year ago when Manchester United made a similar offer.
