French left-back Malvin Bard could be on his way out of OGC Nice this summer, with Serie A side Napoli reportedly interested in his services.
Bard, 23, has been a regular starter for Nice over the past two seasons, making 31 appearances in all competitions last season. He has also scored one goal and provided two assists during that time.
The defender’s performances have reportedly attracted the attention of Napoli, who are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the upcoming season.
According to TMW, Napoli have already made contact with Bard’s representatives to discuss a potential move. The player is valued at around €20 million.
Bard’s departure would be a blow to Nice, who have already lost midfielder Lucien Favre to Lyon this summer. However, the club could use the money from his sale to reinvest in other areas of the squad.
