Barcelona vs Paris Saint-Germain: Probable Lineups

Barcelona are on the cusp of a Champions League semi-final berth for the first time since 2019, and they’ll need to overcome a determined Paris Saint-Germain side at home on Tuesday night.

Following a thrilling 3-2 victory in Paris last week, Xavi’s men hold a narrow lead heading into the second leg at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.

Barcelona will be without Gavi and Alejandro Balde for the long haul, but they’ll welcome back key players like Joao Cancelo, Inigo Martinez, and Robert Lewandowski who missed their last league game due to suspension. However, Christensen and Sergi Roberto are out due to yellow card accumulation.

Youngster Pedri is expected to return to the starting lineup after overcoming a thigh injury, with exciting teenagers Pau Cubarsi and Lamine Yamal also potentially getting the nod.

PSG, meanwhile, will be missing injured players Presnel Kimpembe, Layvin Kurzawa, Sergio Rico, and could be without Nordi Mukiele due to a head injury.

Achraf Hakimi returns from suspension to bolster their defense, while coach Luis Enrique might opt for Goncalo Ramos and Warren Zaire-Emery for a more attacking approach. Ousmane Dembele faces his former club again, and Kylian Mbappé will be looking to add to his impressive four-goal Champions League tally against Barcelona.

Here’s a look at the possible starting lineups for both teams.

Barcelona: Ter Stegen; Kounde, Araujo, Cubarsi, Cancelo; Pedri, Gundogan, F de Jong; Yamal, Lewandowski, Raphinha

Paris Saint-Germain: Donnarumma; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Beraldo, Hernandez; Zaire-Emery, Ruiz, Vitinha; Dembele, Ramos, Mbappe
