Barcelona fans mistakenly attack their own team bus amidst PSG clash

Tensions are running high between FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain fans, and it reached a bizarre new level when Barcelona supporters mistakenly attacked their own team bus.

With PSG hoping for a ‘remontada’ (comeback) against Barcelona, the Catalan club’s fans are determined to make their presence known and disrupt their opponents. Following the infamous “Operation Ousmane Dembélé” incident, where fans attempted to lure the French winger out of his hotel, Barcelona supporters set their sights on another target: the PSG team bus.

However, their latest operation took an unexpected turn. As they lit flares and sang chants outside the stadium, the thick red smoke created a chaotic atmosphere. In the confusion, instead of targeting the bus carrying PSG players, the Barcelona fans attacked their own team’s bus. The incident was captured on video and shared by RAC1 journalist Gerard Romero. “This is the reception of the fans in the Barça bus with chants and flares. Some confused it with the PSG bus and threw objects,” he reported on social media.

Parisian Fans Assaulted

Hours before the match kicked off, chaotic scenes unfolded around the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium in Montjuïc. According to Loïc Tanzi, a journalist for L’Équipe, Parisian supporters found themselves surrounded by Barcelona fans, who proceeded to assault them and force them to seek refuge.
