PSG targets Marcus Thuram as potential Mbappé replacement

Paris Saint-Germain is actively looking for a replacement for Kylian Mbappé, who has been linked with a move away from the club this summer. The French forward has been a key player for PSG, but his potential departure has prompted the club to explore options in the transfer market.

In recent weeks, several players have been linked with a move to PSG, including Luis Díaz, Victor Osimhen, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Now, according to Italian transfer portal Calciomercato, Marcus Thuram has emerged as another potential target for the Ligue 1 champions.

Thuram, the son of legendary French defender Lilian Thuram, has been in impressive form for Inter Milan this season, scoring 12 goals and providing 12 assists in 40 appearances. His performances have reportedly caught the attention of PSG, who are willing to pay a significant fee to secure his services.

Inter Milan, however, are reportedly demanding no less than €80 million for the 24-year-old attacker, who is under contract with the club until 2025. PSG are financially capable of meeting Inter’s demands, but they are carefully considering their options before making a final decision.

Thuram’s versatility and attacking prowess make him an attractive prospect for PSG, and he could potentially fill the void left by Mbappé’s departure. However, the club will need to weigh up the cost of the transfer against other potential targets before making a move.
