Las Palmas eye Layvin Kurzawa as Sergi Cardona replacement

Sergi Cardona’s departure to Atlético de Madrid will leave a big void on the left flank of UD Las Palmas, and the club is already considering different options to cover the loss of the homegrown player.

Everything initially indicates that the player from Girona will end up at Atlético de Madrid, as we have been reporting that the agreement with the ‘colchoneros’ has been closed since last summer.

This has led to one of the points on the yellow team’s roadmap being the search for a left-back, and Kurzawa is the one who has been gaining a lot of strength in recent days. The French international is out of contract at the end of the year and his agent has called on Luis Helguera to offer his services.

At the moment, the Canary Islands team is considering it, as despite being a player with a proven level, he has been playing very few games for several years. In any case, Kurzawa is now the favorite option and it would not be surprising if they reach an agreement before the summer.
