Liverpool’s €150m bid for Valverde rejected by Real Madrid

Liverpool have seen their €150 million bid for Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde rejected, according to El Debate.

The Reds have been long-term admirers of the Uruguayan, and Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of the player. They offered €100 million for him in the summer of 2022, but that was also rejected.

Real Madrid consider Valverde to be a key player and are not willing to sell him. He has a €1 billion release clause, and even if Liverpool were to meet that, Valverde is not interested in leaving the Bernabéu.

The 24-year-old is a product of Real Madrid’s youth academy and has broken into the first team in recent years. He has made 154 appearances for the club, scoring 11 goals and providing 13 assists.

Valverde is a versatile midfielder who can play in a number of positions. He is strong, athletic, and has good technique. He is also a good passer and has an eye for goal.

Liverpool are in need of midfield reinforcements, and Valverde would be a perfect addition to their squad. However, it seems that Real Madrid are not willing to sell him at any price.
