Florentino Pérez could accept a departure to Bayer Leverkusen in the next transfer windows.
All the big teams are working on their respective sporting plans, and some are already starting to make moves for the future. That’s why Bayer Leverkusen and Real Madrid are likely to sit down at the negotiating table soon.
Iker Bravo ends his loan at Real Madrid on June 30, 2024, and has an option to buy clause of 8 million euros. The merengue club does not plan to pay that amount for him, and Leverkusen does not plan to keep him either.
But he is not the only player for whom an agreement has been reached between the two clubs. Melvin Ukpeigbe, a right-back from the Real Madrid academy, is on loan at Bayer Leverkusen and his loan also ends this summer.
The Madrid player has an option to buy clause of 4 million euros, but according to Rodra, a journalist for RelevoRelevo, Leverkusen does not want to pay that amount, even though they do want to keep his services.
They believe that the player has the potential to reach the first team in the coming years and that is why they want to bet on him. The same media outlet claims that Leverkusen will try to get a one-year loan extension in order to better assess the player’s transfer depending on his evolution.
What does seem clear is that this summer they will negotiate the sale of Iker Bravo, who has not managed to “succeed” at Real Madrid, but has attracted the interest of several first division clubs.
