The 21-year-old is confident that he can compete with Mbappé for a starting spot. “I know that I’m a good player and I can help this team,” he said. “I’m going to fight for my place and I’m not going to give it up easily.”
Mbappé is expected to be one of the biggest signings in Real Madrid history, but he will not be given a free pass to the starting lineup. Rodrygo is determined to fight for his place, and it will be interesting to see how Ancelotti manages his star-studded attack next season.
