Juventus reportedly accelerate their pursuit of Thiago Motta

Juventus are reportedly considering a change of manager, with Massimiliano Allegri’s future at the club in doubt.

Allegri has been under pressure for some time, and the Bianconeri hierarchy are said to be ready to give him two more games to save his job.

If Allegri fails to turn things around, he will be sacked, and Juventus are already drawing up a list of potential replacements.

According to Tuttosport, Thiago Motta is the top target. Motta is currently doing an excellent job at Bologna, and he will be out of contract at the end of the season.

The 41-year-old Italian coach has already held talks with Juventus about a three-year deal.

Motta is a former Juventus player, and he is seen as a good fit for the club’s culture. He is also a  young and ambitious coach, and he is believed to be capable of taking Juventus back to the top.

Other potential candidates for the Juventus job include Antonio Conte, Mauricio Pochettino, and Zinedine Zidane.

However, Motta is the preferred choice, and he could be appointed as the new Juventus coach in the coming weeks.
