AC Milan eyes Gonçalo Ramos as Olivier Giroud replacement

With Olivier Giroud’s departure to LAFC in the MLS, AC Milan is on the hunt for a suitable replacement for the French striker. Among the options being considered, the Rossoneri are closely looking at Gonçalo Ramos, but there is a financial hurdle that needs to be overcome with the help of Paris Saint-Germain.

Rumors of Giroud’s move to LAFC have been circulating widely, prompting Milan to intensify their search for a forward. Among the previous options such as Viktor Gyokeres, Ramos has emerged as an attractive possibility to bolster the Italian team’s attack.

AC Milan is looking for a new center forward

Gonçalo Ramos, a 22-year-old Portuguese international, has proven his worth at Paris Saint-Germain since his January signing, contributing nine goals in 30 appearances this season. However, his high transfer fee, at least 50 million euros, and his salary would be beyond Milan’s budget.

Despite this financial barrier, Milan could consider an interesting option: a loan with an option to buy. If PSG were willing to negotiate this type of deal, it could make Ramos’ transfer to the San Siro more feasible for the Italian club.

In addition to the financial considerations, Ramos has also overcome a difficult time in his life, having been hospitalized due to a colon infection that left him physically weakened. However, the striker has regained his fitness and presents himself as an exciting option for Milan in their quest to strengthen their attacking line.

The success of this potential transfer will depend on the willingness of both clubs to find a mutually agreeable financial solution. If PSG is open to a loan deal, Ramos could be the perfect replacement for Giroud and bring much-needed firepower to Milan’s attack.
