Lazio vs. Juventus: Probable lineups

Lazio will be looking to turn a corner under new manager Igor Tudor when they host Juventus on Saturday. With their season in turmoil, Tudor is set to scrap the 4-3-3 formation used by his predecessor Maurizio Sarri and switch to his favored 3-4-2-1 setup.

This could see Mario Gila coming into a three-man defense, but there’s a big selection headache up front. Ciro Immobile, despite a tough season and being dropped by Italy, remains Lazio’s top scorer with six goals. However, Taty Castellanos, who scored twice in the previous game, is pushing him for a starting spot.

Goalkeeper Ivan Provedel and midfielder Nicolo Rovella are both injured, while Luca Pellegrini is suspended.

Juventus will also be missing key players. Star striker Dušan Vlahović, who is second in the Serie A scoring charts with 15 goals, is suspended after a red card. Injury also rules out Arkadiusz Milik and Carlos Alcaraz.

Moise Kean could be handed a rare start in attack alongside Federico Chiesa or youngster Kenan Yildiz. Kean is struggling for form though, having not scored in his last 18 league games – the worst run by a Juventus striker in over two decades!

Here’s a look at the possible lineups:

Mandas; Gila, Romagnoli, Casale; Lazzari, Guendouzi, Cataldi, Marusic; Alberto, Zaccagni; Immobile

Szczesny; Gatti, Bremer, Danilo; Cambiaso, McKennie, Locatelli, Rabiot, Kostic; Chiesa, Kean
