Real Madrid on alert: Camavinga injured with France

Real Madrid are sweating over the fitness of Eduardo Camavinga after the midfielder was forced off with an ankle injury during France’s friendly against Chile.

Camavinga was replaced in the 43rd minute of the match after twisting his ankle. He was in visible pain and received treatment on the pitch before being substituted.

The initial diagnosis is that Camavinga has suffered a sprained ankle. He will undergo further tests in the coming hours to determine the extent of the injury and the expected recovery time.

Real Madrid are hoping that Camavinga will be fit for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Manchester City. The match is scheduled to be played on April 5th.

If Camavinga is ruled out, it would be a major blow for Real Madrid. The 20-year-old has been a key player for the club this season, making 34 appearances in all competitions.

Camavinga’s injury is the latest in a series of setbacks for Real Madrid. The club have also been without Karim Benzema and David Alaba in recent weeks.

Real Madrid will be hoping that Camavinga can make a quick recovery and return to action in time for the Champions League.
