Camavinga and Stones injury concerns for Real Madrid and Manchester City ahead of Champions League clash

Real Madrid and Manchester City are sweating over the fitness of Eduardo Camavinga and John Stones ahead of their Champions League quarter-final clash.

Camavinga was forced off with an ankle injury during France’s friendly against Chile. The midfielder is expected to undergo further tests in the coming hours to determine the extent of the injury.

Stones limped off after just nine minutes of England’s draw with Belgium. The defender is also expected to undergo tests to determine the severity of his knee injury.

Both Camavinga and Stones are major doubts for the first leg of the tie, which is scheduled to be played on April 9th.

If Camavinga is ruled out, it would be a major blow for Real Madrid. The 20-year-old has been a key player for the club this season, making 34 appearances in all competitions.

Stones’ injury is also a major concern for Manchester City. The defender has been a key part of Pep Guardiola’s side this season, making 24 appearances in all competitions.

Both Real Madrid and Manchester City will be hoping that Camavinga and Stones can make quick recoveries and return to action in time for the Champions League.
