Real Madrid are closing in on the signing of Alphonso Davies, with the Bayern Munich left-back reportedly given an ultimatum by the German club, according to Florian Plettenberg.
Davies’ current contract expires in 2025, and Bayern have offered him a new deal worth €14 million per year. However, the Canadian international and his representatives are demanding €20 million per year.
As a result, Bayern have given Davies a deadline of next week to make a decision on his future. If he does not accept the new offer, he will be put up for sale in the summer.

Real Madrid are monitoring the situation closely and are confident that they can sign Davies. The Spanish giants are reluctant to pay anything close to €50 million for the player, but they are hoping to negotiate a lower fee.
Davies is seen as a long-term target for Real Madrid, and they believe he would be the ideal replacement for Marcelo. The Brazilian left-back is out of contract at the end of the season, and he is expected to leave the club.
The signing of Davies would be a major coup for Real Madrid, and it would further strengthen their squad ahead of the 2024-25 season.
📍Within FC Bayern, there’s still talk that David #Alaba is doing a lot to convince Alphonso #Davies to join Real Madrid in summer!
Both are still great friends and in touch.
