Atlético de Madrid are considering Álvaro Valles as a potential replacement for Jan Oblak, who is reportedly considering a move to the Premier League, according to Todofichajes.
Valles, 29, has been one of the revelations of the season for UD Las Palmas, and his performances have attracted the attention of several top clubs.
Las Palmas president Miguel Ángel Ramírez revealed that the club received a €20 million offer from Nottingham Forest for Valles in January, but the offer was rejected.
Nottingham Forest remain interested in Valles, and they are expected to make another offer in the summer. Atlético de Madrid are also interested in Valles, and they are seen as the favorites to sign him if Oblak leaves.
Valles is valued at around €20 million, and Las Palmas are willing to sell him to the highest bidder. The player himself is reportedly keen to stay in Spain, but he is open to a move to a bigger club.
