Atlético Madrid are considering a move for Real Sociedad defender Robin Le Normand.
The 27-year-old has been a key player for the Basque club since joining from Stade Brestois in 2018, making over 200 appearances in all competitions.
Le Normand has also won eight caps for Spain, scoring one goal.
According to reports from Todofichajes, Atlético Madrid are interested in signing Le Normand as a replacement for Mario Hermoso, who is expected to leave the club this summer.
Le Normand is valued at around €40 million (£34 million), but Atlético could be willing to offer a player in exchange to reduce the fee.
The player himself is said to be open to the idea of joining Atlético, who are one of the biggest clubs in Spain.
Le Normand is a strong, physical defender who is good in the air and comfortable with the ball at his feet. He would be a good fit for Atlético’s style of play.
If Atlético do sign Le Normand, it would be a major coup for the club. He is one of the most promising young defenders in Europe and has the potential to be a star at the highest level.
