Barcelona are interested in signing forward Benjamin Sesko as Robert Lewandowski replacement

Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko as a potential replacement for Robert Lewandowski, according to Mas Fichajes.

Lewandowski, 34, has been linked with a move away from Barcelona this summer, with Bayern Munich and Chelsea among the clubs interested in signing him.

If Lewandowski does leave, Barcelona will need to find a new striker to lead their attack. Sesko, 20, is seen as a possible target.

The Slovenian international has scored 11 goals and provided 2 assists in 34 appearances for Leipzig this season. He is also a strong and physical player who is good at holding up the ball and bringing others into play.

Sesko would be a good fit for Barcelona’s style of play. He is a good passer and has an eye for goal. He would also add some much-needed youth and dynamism to their attack.

However, Barcelona will face competition from Chelsea and AC Milan for Sesko’s signature. The Italian club are believed to be in pole position to sign him, but Barcelona will be hoping to convince him to move to Camp Nou.
