AC Milan: Olivier Giroud has already found his future club

Olivier Giroud has had an excellent season with AC Milan, scoring 14 goals and providing 9 assists in 36 appearances. The 37-year-old is still a regular starter for the French national team, but he is likely to retire after the 2024 European Championship in Germany.

Giroud is also likely to move abroad at club level, and he seems to be very attracted to MLS according to recent reports from the Italian press. And it seems that our Italian colleagues were right. On Tuesday, The Athletic confirmed the news: Olivier Giroud is expected to join the United States at the end of his contract with the Rossoneri.

The English-language media outlet goes further and claims that Los Angeles FC are in talks to sign the all-time leading scorer for the French national team. As a reminder, the Californian franchise managed to attract Hugo Lloris, a close friend of the AC Milan number 9, in recent months.

For the moment, nothing has been finalized and the stage of simple discussions has not yet been passed. According to our colleagues across the Atlantic, a contract extension at Milan is not excluded by Giroud.
