Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has warned Paris Saint-Germain that they will be in for a tough game when the two teams meet in the Champions League quarter-finals.
The two teams have met twice in the past two seasons, with PSG winning both times. However, Lewandowski believes that Barcelona are a much better team now than they were then.
“We have improved a lot since the last time we played PSG,” Lewandowski said on TV3. “We are more confident and we have a better understanding of each other’s game. I think we will be a much tougher opponent this time around.”
Lewandowski is also motivated by the fact that he has never scored against PSG. He has scored 53 goals in the Champions League, but none of them have come against the French champions.
“I am always looking to score goals and I would love to score against PSG,” Lewandowski said. “It would be a special moment for me and it would also be a big help to the team.”
The first leg of the tie will be played at the Parc des Princes on April 15, with the second leg at the Camp Nou on April 21.
