Mbappé signs with Real Madrid: Details of the agreement

Kylian Mbappé has reportedly signed a contract with Real Madrid, according to journalist Ramón Álvarez de Mon. The Spanish journalist, who was the first to announce Mbappé’s extension with PSG, claims that the French striker has signed a five-year deal with the Merengue club.

Salary and Signing Bonus

According to his sources, Mbappé will earn a net salary of €13.5 million per year at Real Madrid. He will thus be placed at the same level as Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham, whose contract will be revalued this summer to put the three stars on an equal footing.

Regarding the signing bonus, Ramón Álvarez de Mon indicates that the conditions are very favorable for Real Madrid. “I will not give figures because I have received several, but they are delighted,” he said on his YouTube channel.

Image Rights

Another important point of the contract concerns image rights. Mbappé will keep 100% of the image rights from the advertising contracts he has already signed. However, if new sponsors come forward after his arrival at Real Madrid, the club will receive 10% of the revenue.

Concessions

Real Madrid have made concessions on image rights, leaving 90% of the revenue to the player for the advertising contracts he will sign as a Madridista. However, the club is convinced that with this percentage, it will earn as much, or even more, than what it generates with other players whose rights it owns 30% or 40%.

Mbappé has also made concessions. He has accepted a reasonable signing bonus, which will be spread over the duration of his contract. He has also agreed to be at the same salary level as Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham.

Kylian Mbappé is indeed a Real Madrid player. The details of his contract confirm that the Merengue club has made a big financial effort to attract one of the best players in the world.
