Freiburg vs Bayer Leverkusen Preview: Stats and prediction

Freiburg will be looking to bounce back from their Europa League elimination when they host Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday.

Christian Streich’s side were thrashed 5-0 by West Ham in London on Thursday, and they now need to focus on their league form if they are to qualify for Europe again.

Prediction: Freiburg 1-2 Bayer Leverkusen

Key players:

Freiburg: Vincenzo Grifo
Bayer Leverkusen: Jeremie Frimpong

Hot stat: Leverkusen’s opponents have had a player sent off in four of their last five games in all competitions.
