Liverpool to make an offer for Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich, according to Bild.

The Reds are looking to strengthen their midfield in the summer transfer window and have identified Kimmich as a target.

The 29-year-old is contracted to Bayern until 2025, but is understood to be open to a move away from the Allianz Arena.

Kimmich has been a key player for Bayern since joining the club from RB Leipzig in 2015. He has won six Bundesliga titles, four DFB-Pokals and the Champions League twice.

Kimmich is also a regular for the German national team, and has made 71 appearances for his country.

He is a versatile player who can play in central midfield or at right-back. He is known for his passing range, tackling ability and leadership qualities.

Liverpool are not the only club interested in Kimmich. Barcelona, Manchester City, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are also reported to be monitoring his situation.

It is believed that Bayern would be willing to sell Kimmich for a fee of around €60 million.
