Real Madrid: Vinicius Jr. sees red again

Vinicius Jr. has been in the news for all the wrong reasons lately. The Real Madrid winger has been involved in two controversial incidents in the past week, both of which have resulted in him being sent off.

The first incident occurred in Real Madrid’s Champions League match against RB Leipzig. Vinicius Jr. was shown a straight red card for a reckless challenge on Willi Orban. The Brazilian was caught on camera lunging at Orban with his studs showing, and the referee had no choice but to dismiss him.

The second incident occurred in Real Madrid’s La Liga match against Celta Vigo. Vinicius Jr. was again shown a red card, this time for a second yellow card. The first yellow card was for a petulant reaction to being fouled, and the second was for a reckless challenge on Oscar Mingueza.

Vinicius Jr.’s recent behavior has been unacceptable. He is a talented player, but he needs to learn to control his emotions. If he does not, he will continue to be a liability for Real Madrid.
