Liverpool eye move for belgian forward Loïs Openda

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Belgian forward Loïs Openda from RB Leipzig. The Reds are looking to strengthen their attack in the summer transfer window and have identified Openda as a potential target, according to Fichajes.

The 24-year-old has impressed since joining Leipzig from Lens in the summer of 2023. He has scored 21 goals and provided four assists in 35 appearances in all competitions. Openda is a strong, pacy forward who is good at running in behind and creating chances for himself and others.

He is also a good finisher and has a knack for scoring important goals. Openda has already scored two goals for Belgium in 14 appearances. He is a versatile player who can play on the left wing, right wing, or as a central striker.

Liverpool are not the only club interested in Openda. Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, and Manchester United are also reportedly monitoring his situation. However, Liverpool believe that they have a good chance of signing him due to their strong relationship with Leipzig.

The Reds have already signed two players from Leipzig in recent years – Naby Keïta and Ibrahima Konaté. They are also interested in signing Konrad Laimer from the German club.

If Liverpool do sign Openda, he would provide competition for Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mané, and Roberto Firmino. He would also be a good option for the future as he is still young and has the potential to develop into a top-class player.
