Liverpool eyeing Inzaghi as Klopp replacement, but face competition

Liverpool are reportedly considering Inter Milan boss Simone Inzaghi as a potential successor to Jurgen Klopp, according to Calciomercato.

The Italian manager has emerged as a name of interest for the Reds, who are thought to be planning for the future beyond Klopp’s current reign. Inzaghi wouldn’t be the only candidate, with Chelsea also reportedly keeping tabs on the 47-year-old’s impressive work at Inter.

Inzaghi has enjoyed a stellar season in Serie A, guiding Inter to a commanding 15-point lead at the top of the table. His success has understandably attracted the attention of other top clubs.

Talks over Inzaghi’s future at Inter are expected to take place at the end of the season. It remains to be seen whether he would be open to a move, or if Inter will look to keep hold of their in-demand manager.
