Al-Nassr stumble against Al-Raed, Cristiano Ronaldo fails to score

Al-Nassr suffered a shock 3-1 defeat to Al-Raed in the Saudi Pro League on Thursday. The result leaves Cristiano Ronaldo’s side in second place, six points behind leaders Al-Hilal.

Al-Nassr took the lead in the first half through Ahmed Yahya, but Al-Raed turned the game around after the break. Goals from Mohammed Fouzair, Abderrazak Hamdallah, and Yohan Boli gave the visitors a deserved victory.

Ronaldo was unable to get on the scoresheet for Al-Nassr. The Portuguese superstar had a number of chances, but he was denied by some good goalkeeping from Al-Raed’s Abdullah Al-Mayoof.

The defeat is a major blow to Al-Nassr’s title hopes. They will need to win their remaining games and hope that Al-Hilal slip up if they are to have any chance of catching the leaders.
