Inter Milan are interested in signing Josep Martinez as their new goalkeeper, according to TMW.
The 25-year-old Spaniard is currently playing for Genoa, where he has kept six clean sheets in 26 Serie A appearances this season.
Martinez is valued at €9 million and would be a relatively affordable option for Inter, who are looking for a new goalkeeper to replace Samir Handanovic.
Handanovic is 37 years old and his contract expires at the end of the season.
Inter have also been linked with other goalkeepers, such as Andre Onana and Juan Musso, but Martinez is believed to be their top target.
The Spanish goalkeeper has a good reputation for his shot-stopping and distribution skills.
He is also comfortable playing with his feet, which is something that Inter manager Simone Inzaghi values in a goalkeeper.
Martinez would be a good fit for Inter and could help them to challenge for the Serie A title next season.
