Luis Enrique confirms Mbappé’s future with Real Madrid: “What’s coming”

The situation at the Parc des Princes is not the best after Kylian Mbappé informed Nasser Al Khelaifi that he will not continue at PSG after next season.

The French player seems to be finally willing to move to Chamartín. Ramón Álvarez de Mon, a YouTuber with good information on Real Madrid, even claimed that the Frenchman has already signed with Real Madrid. Carlos Carpio, deputy director of MARCA, corroborated this news.

Luis Enrique, coach of the French team, has to live with this situation. The Asturian appeared in the press room for the match his team will play tomorrow against Rennes.

As expected, the name of the Parisian star was very present in that appearance of the coach: “I don’t see any difference in any of my players this week. What is coming and what we have in this immediate future is a very important match for us,” he said in relation to the attitude of his squad following the news of Mbappé’s departure.

“We need all the strikers” Luis Enrique has tried to downplay the departure of the Bondy crack and values the attitude of the other attackers: “For a team to function at this level, you need all the strikers, without exception. We have many players who can create imbalances in attack and make a difference. As a coach, I like that.”

Finally, he wanted to take a swipe at the press, something that is very typical of him: “You journalists like to talk about the players who play the most.”
