The Bayern Munich coaching saga continues, with Hansi Flick reportedly rejecting a mid-season return to the Allianz Arena.
Flick, who was sacked by Bayern in November 2021, has been linked with a number of clubs since his departure, including Barcelona and Manchester United.
According to Sky Sport Germany, Flick has turned down the opportunity to replace Thomas Tuchel at Bayern, who is under increasing pressure following a string of poor results.
The report claims that Flick is keen to start a new project from the beginning of next season and is already considering several offers.
It is also suggested that Flick is particularly interested in the Barcelona job, which could become available in the summer of 2024 if Xavi Hernandez fails to turn things around.
🔴 Been told again: A comeback of Hansi #Flick at FC Bayern is not a hot topic at the moment. For both, Flick and Bayern!
➡️ In addition, Flick is not particularly interested in just filling in until the end of the season. He’s focused on a long-term project
