Al-Hilal maintain top spot in Saudi Pro League with dominant victory

Al-Hilal continued their impressive run in the Saudi Pro League on Sunday, defeating Al-Raed 3-0 to maintain their lead at the top of the table.

The win comes just days after Al-Nassr, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, claimed a victory of their own. Al-Hilal knew that they needed to respond with a win of their own in order to keep their place at the top of the standings.

And they did just that, putting in a dominant performance against Al-Raed. The team’s top scorer, Aleksandar Mitrovic, once again found the back of the net, scoring twice in the match. Mitrovic now has 18 goals for the season, and is firmly in the race for the Golden Boot.

Kalidou Koulibaly also got on the scoresheet for Al-Hilal, with his goal helping to seal the three points for the team.

The win means that Al-Hilal have now gone 20 matches without defeat in all competitions. They will be looking to continue their impressive run of form when they face Al-Ettifaq in their next match.
