Paris Saint-Germain Considers Arsenal's Gabriel Martinelli as Alternative to Kylian Mbappé

Paris Saint-Germain is seriously considering the future of its attacking force amid persistent speculation about Kylian Mbappé’s departure. The French capital club has reportedly turned its attention to Brazilian winger Gabriel Martinelli, who currently plays for Arsenal.

Despite persistent rumors, Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi denied any imminent departure of Mbappé at the UEFA Congress on Thursday. “When we both decide, we will tell you,” he said, contradicting speculation about a possible transfer of the Frenchman to Real Madrid at the end of his contract this summer.

However, according to journalist Ekrem Konur, Paris Saint-Germain is closely monitoring the situation of 22-year-old Gabriel Martinelli at Arsenal. Martinelli made a splash last season in the Premier League with 15 goals and 5 assists, although his performances have declined this season, with 5 goals and 2 assists in the league.

Valued at 85 million euros by Transfermarkt, Martinelli could represent a crucial reinforcement for Paris Saint-Germain, which is looking to strengthen its attacking ranks in anticipation of possible departures.
