AC Milan target Joshua Zirkzee as summer transfer window target

AC Milan are reportedly considering Joshua Zirkzee as one of their main targets for the summer transfer window. The Italian giants are planning to make contact with both Zirkzee’s entourage and Bologna to discuss a possible deal, with Milan prepared to invest €25-30 million, according to Todofichajes.

Milan are aware that Olivier Giroud is likely to leave the club when his contract expires in June in search of an experience outside of Europe. This means that Milan are in the market for a replacement for the French striker.

Zirkzee, 21, has been on loan at Bologna from Bayern Munich this season and has impressed, scoring 7 goals in 15 appearances. The Dutch striker is highly rated by Bayern Munich and has a €40 million buy-back clause in his contract. However, this fixed price only applies to Bayern Munich.

Milan could include Alexis Saelemaekers, who is on loan at Bologna with a €12 million purchase option, in the negotiations to reduce the transfer fee.
