Paris Saint-Germain confirms Kylian Mbappé’s departure

The love story between Paris Saint-Germain and Kylian Mbappé is coming to an end. The Parisian club has confirmed, according to Mundo Deportivo, that its star striker will leave the club on June 30th, when his contract expires.

In a terse statement sent to several media outlets, Nasser Al Khelaïfi’s club declared: “The club confirms that Kylian has communicated his decision to leave PSG at the end of the 2024 season. The terms of this departure have not yet been fully finalized,” PSG specified in its statement.

Furthermore, PSG and the player still need to agree on the contractual terms of the departure. It is worth remembering that Mbappé himself renounced a loyalty bonus of 120 million euros that he was entitled to for staying at the club at the end of last season.

The Bondy native announced to PSG his decision to leave the Parc des Princes, and today, the Parisian club has released the announcement to various media outlets.

In addition, Kylian Mbappé has been free to negotiate with any club since January 1st. And everything suggests that his immediate future lies with Real Madrid. PSG had hoped to keep him until the last moment. But it was the player himself who put an end to Parisian hopes by announcing his desire to leave Paris on June 30th.
