Juventus eye Mattia Zaccagni as Federico Chiesa replacement

Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Lazio winger Mattia Zaccagni as a potential replacement for Federico Chiesa, according to Tuttosport.

Chiesa is currently out injured with a serious knee injury, and his future at Juventus is uncertain. The Italian international has been linked with a move to several top European clubs, and Juventus are preparing for the possibility of his departure.

Zaccagni, 28, has been in impressive form for Lazio since joining the club from Hellas Verona in 2021. He has scored 19 goals and provided 18 assists in 105 appearances for Lazio in all competitions.

The Italian winger is known for his pace, dribbling, and crossing ability. He is also a versatile player who can play on either flank or as a central attacking midfielder.

Zaccagni’s contract with Lazio expires in 2024, and the club are reportedly willing to sell him for a fee of around €20 million. Juventus are believed to be interested in signing Zaccagni, and they could make a move for him in the summer transfer window.
