AS Roma: The surprising search for a goalkeeper in Germany revealed

AS Roma are reportedly looking to sign a goalkeeper from Germany.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, the Italian club have identified Michael Zetterer of Werder Bremen as a potential target.

The 28-year-old Zetterer is under contract with Werder Bremen until June 2025, but he is reportedly available for a transfer fee of €5 million.

Zetterer has kept four clean sheets in 14 Bundesliga appearances this season.

He is a product of the Bayern Munich youth academy, and he has also played for Augsburg and Fortuna Düsseldorf.

Zetterer is a tall and athletic goalkeeper, and he is known for his good distribution.

He would be a good addition to AS Roma, who are looking for a new goalkeeper to compete with Rui Patricio.
